Nicholas George, an award winning Brisbane architect formed Nicholas George Architecture in 2016, with a passionate mission statement, “to create places with atmosphere that embrace many different people and subtly reflect their identity” Nicholas believes that as architects we have the privilege of creating places that inspire humanity in a meaningful way. In an age trapped by dogma - we still feel the need to make things easy, economic, functional and simple instead of uplifting and brilliant. He has enjoyed over 17 years of international design experience with premier architectural firms across varying large scale residential and commercial projects, and in recent years, specialisation in stadia design. Being attracted to a broad range of building types, Nicholas has recognised his overarching passion for designing mixed use architecture. With this goal in mind, he recently formed an architecture practice with a mission to design buildings that capture the authentic human narrative of the communities they serve, creating places with atmosphere that embrace many different people and subtly reflect their identity. At Nicholas George Architecture, Nicholas is enthusiastic about delivering world class buildings in a commercial context, connecting culturally appropriate design, functional utility and stakeholder identity.
