Nextier SPD (Security, Peace, and Development) is an international development consulting firm based in Nigeria which uses evidence based research and policy in developing and building knowledge and skills for governing the society. Our work is directed at enhancing human security, peace and sustainable development as means to achieving stability and prosperity in Nigeria and in the African region. Nextier SPD is an off-shoot of Nextier Advisory Nigeria, with offices in Abuja, Lagos, and Enugu. Our engagement covers conflict and post-conflict reconstruction; community development and empowerment; security sector reform and governance, early warming and disaster management; empowerment, accountability, and gender; environment and climate change; governance and democratization; peace building and peace education, and resources conflicts and governance. Our projects are delivered with great consideration given to their impacts on the people and the society. We rely on our networks and influence to deliver suitable analysis, program-project management, practical training and technical assistance to government and international development agencies.
