The Mission of Newport Mental Health is to improve the lives of children, adults, and families who live, work, and study in Newport County by providing the highest quality, recovery-oriented, evidence-based and integrated mental health and substance use care.
Founded in 1964, Newport Mental Health provides services to children, adolescents, families, and adults who are experiencing mental illness, substance use, or stress in their lives, who would benefit from counseling and other behavioral health services and supports. Our person-centered recovery approach to care offers individuals a chance to achieve a better quality of life and recovery from emotional illness.
No one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay. There is a sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
