The New York BizLab is a business accelerator located in the heart of Schenectady, New York. Founded by Transfinder president and CEO Antonio Civitella, the BizLab's purpose is to help tech companies grow smart, and grow fast.
In 2013, Civitella tapped Rick D'Errico to become managing director of the BizLab. Beginning in 2014, the BizLab has built an impressive stable of advisers made up mostly of tech company CEOs and movers and shakers in the Tech Valley region of New York.
The BizLab's is seeking companies with a focus on EdTech and logistics -- playing of the strengths of Transfinder, a software developer that makes school bus routing software for 1,700 clients. However, the BizLab is also creating an ecosystem for tech companies in software development, ecommerce, app development, games, etc.
