New York Bakery Company is the UK leader in bagel and viennoiserie manufacture supplying high quality products to UK supermarkets, out of home channel and internationally. We have a 90% value share of the bagel market in the UK, producing both private label and NYBCo. bagels. We are the largest scale manufacturer of authentic (boiled and stone baked) bagels in Europe, producing over 300 million bagels each year. Our products are sold in a range of countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany and Scandinavia. We are owners of the prominent, New York Bakery Co. brand, which is the recognised market leader in bagel manufacturing in the UK.
We operate two plants in the United Kingdom:
- bagel manufacturing in Rotherham, South Yorkshire
- viennoiserie (laminated pastry) manufacturing in Maidstone, Kent
Our corporate offices are in West Drayton, by Heathrow Airport.
In May 2014 New York Bakery Company was integrated into and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo, the largest baking company in the world.
