Behind every great campaign leader, is a thriving network of people.
➡️ Finding and understanding how to leverage those networks can be a hurdle for many advocates of significant change.
Netcentric Campaigns is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., and founded in 2000 to serve the courageous leaders who dedicate their lives to solving complex social issues.
➡️ We help advocates of social change through our Fellowship Program in Network Building, which offers:
• A framework for successful network building
• Hands-on training
• A course of content and online resources
• Consultative help
• Collaboration on a joint vision for fellowship
• Materials and staff time
• Opportunities to learn and teach the skillset of network building
• Insights into the challenges of network building
• How to implement concrete actions to build powerful connections
➡️ We build both the strategy and the strategist.
We are eager to share lessons from our work on Public Health, Culture of Health Network, Childhood Obesity, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) network in Ghana, Fighting the harms from Fracking and Gas Development, or local networks in Maryland or Pittsburgh.
We act and incubate new projects to serve our allies and advance environmental and public health organizing.
Our projects include Green Media Toolshed, Women’s E-Media Center, MobileActive, Scorecard.org, OccupyMessages, Movement as a Workforce, and Gamification in Advocacy.
