At Natáur, we believe that healthy products should be produced in healthy ways. Taurine, an essential nutrient for humans and animals, is used in everyday products: infant formula, pet food, animal feed, energy drinks, nutrition supplements, and personal-care products. Currently, almost all of the taurine is made from petroleum-based chemicals, which have widespread human and environmental health impacts. Natáur produces taurine with renewable resources by fermentation. Our process does not use hazardous or toxic chemicals, and it does not use animal parts or leave residual metals. Our technology uses harmless microbes as factories to produce taurine from sugar and natural compounds. Natáur’s taurine is natural, eco-friendly, safer, and locally accessible.
