National Sun Yat Sen University

Established in 1980, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) in Kaohsiung plays a pivotal role in balancing educational resources between northern and southern Taiwan. Named after Dr. Sun Yat-sen, founder of the Republic of China, the university observes his birthday, November 12th, as its anniversary.
