Nation Hospital is designed to be a 144 bed multi-specialty hospital spanning a total of 40,000 m². Located in a prime location of Abu Dhabi City near the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, it is planned to be operational in 2016. Nation Hospital is an acute hospital focusing on secondary care level with some specialties towards tertiary care. The hospital will offer a broad range of specialty clinical services, supported by appropriate diagnostic and clinical support services creating an unparalleled healthcare experience by combining state-of-the-art design with personalized service providing optimal conditions for effective and efficient medical care. The hospital will boast a comprehensive number of consultants, highly professional nursing and non-medical staff and a collaboration with the world-renowned Medical University of Vienna, one of the largest University Hospitals in Europe with more than 650 years of distinguished history in medical education, research and patient care. The Vienna General Hospital encompasses 2,200 beds, 5,000 total staff, of which 1,600 are physicians, a main campus spanning 240,000 m², 42 clinical departments, 61 general and 337 specialized outpatient departments.
