NanoVoltaics, Inc. (NVI) is an engineering services provider to the cleantech sector, focusing on commercialization of disruptive technologies and production methods. The company name reflects our core belief that nanotechnology will be instrumental in realizing commercially viable solutions to some of the world’s most pressing resource problems, and will enable novel products in many fields, such as water treatment and decontamination, building and industrial insulation, novel catalysts, fertilizer and drug delivery methods. We are primarily focused on technology commercialization for the renewable energy sector. The Company’s core strength is the identification of high-impact innovations in an early development stage, taking these innovative technologies out of the lab environment and scaling them up for commercial volume production applications. The methodology that NVI has developed for doing this is currently being applied to the development of photobioreactors for the production of biofuels and nutraceuticals from algae. We also have unique technology, covered by a number of patents, for the manufacture of novel nanoporous materials, which are currently being commercialized for a variety of applications.
