NAHE Pulp is building a European network of associated mini-mills for the fully green production of pulps for paper and board.
For decades to come, paper will continue to be one of the utmost commodities in our society. Nowadays, more and more papers are produced out of recycled fiber materials, however new virgin fibres will always be needed as part of a sustainable recycling industry. This virgin pulp is mainly produced from trees in large mega-factories in forest rich countries elsewhere.
Our 3rd generation bio-refineries will not use trees for their raw material but rather they use locally available rest products like straw. Our production process can be qualified as fully green and is non-wood and non-food.
On top of that, we scale our mills to a size that regional / local nature can truly sustain. The raw materials needed for continuous operation have to be reliably sourced from within a relatively small action radius, resulting in relative small refinery operations (mini-mills).
Our keen eye on the environmental burden of logistics combined with the 3rd generation bio technology of the actual operations result in our end product, a pulp for paper and board that nature can sustain.
