While there are plenty of local Data Engineering and Science meetups that focus on the tech, what’s been missing is something that focuses not just on tech, but people and process too – a meetup that takes in the whole picture. This is why we’ve launched New Zealand’s first DataOps Meetup. Focused on open source/advanced platforms, modern delivery and operational frameworks, this is a meetup aimed at technical resources, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps/SREs, Architects, Operational Managers and Data Leaders. As well as presentations from leading vendors and specialists in the market, you’ll hear from expert panels and get the chance to be involved in interactive sessions, not to mention technical labs. Most importantly, you’ll get the opportunity to share your own stories – the wins, the losses and ideas for the future! This isn’t a one-off networking opportunity. We’ll be running quarterly DataOps meetups, alternating between two cities: Auckland and Wellington (with Christchurch to be added later).
