New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering (NMITE)
We don’t have enough engineers; we don’t have enough women engineers; and employers tell us that too many engineering graduates lack the right industry skills for the future.
Our range of degree courses in Integrated Engineering and Sustainable Built Environment benefit from our unique approach to learning which takes place through a curriculum that has been co-developed with industry, and the community, to meet the engineering, and technical demands of the 21st century. We know the engineering industry, in all its many forms, requires a much greater number of work-ready, socially and economically aware graduates. We know the UK will benefit from greater diversity in engineering, and we believe NMITE will deliver on this. We just need one thing, we need you.
Our degrees will see you work consistently on real challenges, during which you'll acquire the knowledge, understanding, skills and competency needed to succeed, not just as an individual, but within a team-based environment. We place learning-by-doing over lectures, and learning-by-results over exams. We prioritise your employability.
We accept UCAS and direct applications. We also accept applications from a range of academic backgrounds. Maths and physics are not a necessity, as we'll teach you what you need to know to succeed. With multiple intakes available per year, along with Foundation Years available to be taken at the beginning of each of our degree courses, becoming an engineer with NMITE is now more accessible then ever.
Our unique approach is reflected in our range of short courses, expanding degree portfolio and CPD offering. Get in touch to discover more on the NMITE difference today.
