The National Forum for Environment and Sustainable Development (NFESD) is a Yemeni civil, non-governmental, non-profit organization that was established in Yemen in 2021.
NFESD is interested in working in areas related to the environment, sustainable development, the effects of climate change on national resources.
It also seeks to raise awareness about the concepts of the environment and climate change as well as human rights in a clean and safe environment, as well as raising the level of awareness about the social responsibility of companies, institutions, and organizations and working to strengthen it, as well as promoting the 2030 goals of the United Nations on environment and climate.
It seeks to achieve its goals by supporting and implementing environmental interventions and activities, as well as advisory services, implementing training programs and specialized workshops, as well as organizing specialized forums and conferences in the fields of environment, climate change, social responsibility on the environment, sustainable development, empowering women, raising their capabilities.
The forum seeks to supplement and build the capacities of all organizations and institutions to make their practices and activities environmentally friendly, responsible, and compatible with sustainable development standards, and to reduce heat emissions.
The forum works on carrying out specialized research and studies, in addition to issuing various periodicals and publications on environmental issues and climate change.
