We started from humble beginnings with only a hummus mixer and a lot of passion. This can-do-attitude allowed us to take risks and follow our instinct, bringing Israeli fusion food to the European market.
We believe that good food is about more than just flavour. It’s about how it makes us feel. NENI always intends to be a sociable, informal place where you are welcomed and served with a smile. A place where you feel at home and the food is simple and delicious, comfortable and sophisticated.
- OUR STORY
NENI - this is the company and kitchen concept of the Molcho family. The name is composed of the initials of Nuriel, Elior, Nadiv & Ilan, the four sons of the cuisine virtuosa Haya Molcho.
Years earlier, driven by her curiosity, Haya whilst touring with her artist husband, Samy, took numerous trips to explore kitchens and markets around the world, becoming acquainted with a variety of different dishes, spices, foods, and methods of preparation. This has had a lasting impact on her life and has strongly influenced her kitchen style.
Haya’s dream of working together with her sons was realized once they finished their studies, “...we ate, we laughed, we cried and talked about our passion for food, people, and stories. It quickly became clear that we wanted to open a restaurant and without overthinking, the idea of NENI was born.“ Fast forward to today, with 10 restaurants across Europe and a further expansion in the works, NENI continues to spread it‘s love and joy for Israeli food, lifestyle and culture.

NENI’s kitchen is best described by the word ‘Balagan‘ - a Hebrew term meaning ‘beautiful chaos’. It embodies the modern Israeli cuisine; a melting pot of cultures and influences from around the world. The style of food in Tel-Aviv, where NENI derives its inspiration, combines age-old traditions with contemporary innovation.
