We are a slow textiles label that works with a group of weavers in western Odisha, India to make handwoven IKAT accessories and one-size-fit-all clothing in 100% cotton fine fabric. We use azo-free dyes for all our products. IKAT is a very interesting craft which involves a process of tying and dyeing the threads to achieve desired feathery patterns against a dark background. This technique demands a lot of precision and hence the weavers involved are highly skilled. We try to bridge the gap between their skills and the needs and demands of the contemporary market by designing products that are relevant to the present times. Everything we sell is one-size-fit-all which makes our products perfect for gifting for special occasions or for special members of your family and friends. We believe that gifting handcrafted products is the best way to introduce the wealth of crafts in our country to our near and dear ones and support the artisans at the same time. We consider ourselves ambassadors of IKAT craft and organize IKAT CRAFT TALKS once in a while around India. We are also obsessed about scarves and hold Scarf Draping Workshops to teach our clients how to drape a scarf in more than 20 ways.
