The Association is organized to provide member services, such as continuing education and communication. We also work to educate the public about the nature of our profession, and to advise the public on important issues such as health information and privacy.
NCHIMA represents over 3,000 members knowledgeable on critical topics such as health care information technology (electronic medical records), privacy and security of health information, coding, and reimbursement.
