Music Innovation Hub

The MIH is a social enterprise acting as a think tank, a production company and a consultancy for the music industry, for policy makers, local government bodies, cultural institutions. MIH incubates new artistic talents, with a special focus on export-oriented sounds. It develops training and vocational programmes, promotes international networking opportunities, supports innovation projects in music production, consumption, and distribution. It boosts the international profile of music produced in Italy, with a special focus on projects with significant social impact. MIH sees music as a means of emancipation, inclusion and integration, capable of unleashing hidden energies and breaking constraints in society. MIH runs the annual Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival, the largest music conference and showcase festival in Italy, held in multifunctional cultural centre BASE Milano. It also manages the FUTURISSIMA music label, booking and talent management agency.
