Music City Baseball

Music City Baseball, LLC (“MCB”) is an organization of Nashville business, sports, music and community leaders. MCB is committed to bringing a Major League Baseball franchise to the City of Nashville as a central piece of a mixed-use, multi-themed family, sports, and entertainment district. Our focus is to secure Major League Baseball approval of an expansion franchise in Nashville, although relocation and rebranding of an existing franchise would also be considered. Our goal is to complete construction of a new baseball stadium by early 2025 and commence competition in the Spring of 2025. Greatness holds no boundary to time and while honoring Nashville's past, we swing for the Stars of tomorrow. At Music City Baseball, our mission overlaps with that of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, MO. We recognize the heroism of the Negro League Baseball players; we understand that They Played for Us. That’s why Music City Baseball has formed a strong partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. We believe in the mission of the Museum. We want to honor the Negro Leagues for its contributions to baseball and to American society.
