Murtis Taylor Human Services System is a nonprofit organization that provides Behavioral Health, Addiction, Youth, Family, and Senior services. Our mission is to support, empower and strengthen individuals, families and communities to become healthy and productive through effective, integrated health and human services.
Murtis Taylor Human Services System is a county-wide United Way charitable organization. Part of our services include providing settlement house and adult and children's mental health services to individuals and families in need, serving more than 12,000 children and adults annually at twelve locations.
Throughout its history, MTHSS has demonstrated unique partnerships with diverse groups. Murtis Taylor Human Services System achieves its mission by having a significant bond to its neighborhoods and building upon the strengths of the community. It moves individuals and communities toward optimal health by diminishing the effects of illness, discrimination, bias, and poverty through innovation, partnership and research. Today, MTHSS is revitalized with a new business and strategic plan designed to ensure that the safety net programs the organization provides will continue to empower individuals and families in our community.
