At Murakami Design Inc., we are in the business of creating and building residences that bring comfort and delight to the lives of their owners. The Murakami team begins each project with an in-depth understanding of the client's practical requirements, stylistic preferences and budget parameters. Then, we apply our creative expertise to unite these various factors into a coherent design solution. A breadth of expertise is required to create and build homes of exceptional quality, and all these talents can be found within the Murakami team. Founder and president Raymond Murakami, who is actively involved in every project, is supported by a full-time staff of four. Team members include talented architectural designer and interior designers who work together in developing each design solution, as well as project managers and quantity surveyors who supervise the many tradespeople involved in the construction and completion of each residence. Murakami provides the full range of services involved in designing and building new homes, or in thoroughly reconstructing and updating existing dwellings. From historical research and initial sketches to construction drawings and on-site supervision, we work with clients every step of the way to achieve their vision and ensure their satisfaction. We collaborate closely with such professionals as landscape architects and interior designers, as well as structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, respecting their expertise in helping us develop fully integrated design solutions. Finally, our team stays abreast of all the latest developments in construction materials and techniques.
