Multi Media Training Institute

Multimedia Training Institute was founded by Lyn Dyson to engage and inspire youth and young adults to realize and achieve their full potential. Established in 1982, Multimedia Training Institute (MMTI) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit community-based organization located in the District of Columbia’s Ward 7. MMTI’s mission is to empower youth and young adults to critically analyze, confidently express and document their voices and translate these voices utilizing media arts, including video and radio production, technical theater, journalism, art administration, digital marketing and job readiness. MMTI believes that by providing proper direction and training, participants in our programs will produce how they see the world with these transformational tools.
