Mull and Iona Community Trust (known as MICT) is a charitable organisation based on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, representing the communities of Mull and Iona.
The Trust has a long track record of delivering successful community development projects across a range of areas, and is focused on addressing the practical, economic and social challenges faced by our remote, rural communities.
As well as delivering projects, we operate several successful charity shops to support re-use and reduce waste on our islands, run a popular community transport scheme to address geographic isolation, and operate a dedicated ranger service to protect our special habitats and educate visitors and residents alike.
We have a core set of employees and short-term project workers, and a wider army of volunteers who support our work as charity shop staff, project steering group members and board directors.
We are a Registered Charity (SC025995) with OSCR, the Scottish Charity Regulator.
