Mukesh Fertilizars The pioneer and founder of the Mukesh Fertilizer’s pledge to do independent business: I, Shah Mahendrakumar Keshavlal , is the son Mr. Shah Keshavlal Maganlal of a middle class family of Handod Village, Karjan Taluka. In Handod village, my father used to do business of grain groceries and retail trade of fabrics for the livelihood of our family. My father taught me as he was very fond of learning. I got degree of B.Sc. in 1962 and I completed my graduation in science stream. I had eagerness in my mind to do something. With the permission of my father, I started my job in Alembic Chemicals, Vadodara. I devoted three years of service to Alembic Chemicals. I used to feel that because of job, my growth will be limited. I wanted to fly over sky. There was a strong determination in my mind and there was to be something buoyancy in my heart. I decided to do independent business by taking blessings of my dear father. I started my business on the name of Mukesh Fertilizer in Nava Bazaar, Karjan from 21-05-1966. I got agency through Gujarat Pesticides, Salatwada.  I started sales of menyor mixture fertilizer on the trade name of Emophos. Slowly, with the blessings of parents and almighty, business of fertilizers went very nicely. In 1971, started work by getting agency through Union Carbide company’s “carbaryl” and carbaryl seven trademarks, Karjan. I started selling of agricultural pesticides so farmers get better production. In the meantime, I used to think about how I and farmers can get more and more benefits. As a result of this contemplation, for the development of this organization, I decided few objectives which are as follows: The purpose of the establishment of Mukesh Fertilizer, Karjan: To provide good and quality pesticides to the farmers. By purchasing the goods directly from the manufacturers, distribute them to farmers at a fair price. To buy the goods with the bills and to sell the goods with the bill only. To give advice-suggestions to farmers so that they can be happy and get better production. The progress of this commercial organization: Based on the above principles, the credit and reputation of our organization grew. Trade also grew from year to year. Along with my personal development also deepened. I have also worked in social activities. I joined many educational and social organizations. In Karjan Taluka, my friends and farmers had much respect for me. Also in my society, I have worked as general secretary at community level. In addition, by taking active interest in caste education and assistant fund as secretary and in publication work of caste leaflet “gyanjyot” and “gyati directory”, I have also given meaningful contribution in the development of these organizations. Like me, my elder son Mr. Pareshkumar is also giving his contribution in educational field and mounting ahead. Farmers of taluka come for his advice for getting better yields in agriculture. By mingling with farmers and giving them proper guidance, he is also gaining popularity among people. At the moment, Mr.Pareshbhai is handling work of Mukesh Fertilizer, Hathi baug, Nava Bazaar, Karjan. He is handling work related to pesticides of very well known companies.  In addition, sales of Sankar Cotton and other seeds and chemical fertilizers like Urea, D.A.P., Ammonium Sulphate, Super Phosphate and other Phosphate-laden fertilizers and Potash are done on the name of “Tapan Fertilizer” , located at Segawa, Shinor Taluka.
