Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church is committed to answering God’s call by being the hands and feet of Christ. Our missional identity, as followers of Jesus, is focused on serving God’s people locally and globally. Our mission statement: Equipping our church family; Engaging every member in ministry; Following God’s call into the world; To transform Mount Pleasant into a Christ-like community. This vision is lived out through: • Meeting the basic needs (physical, spiritual, emotional, social) of our community, especially children, through social service ministries. • Equipping people for ministry through spiritual renewal, worship, leadership development and Christian education. • Building community by assimilating people through relevant ministries/programs. • Encouraging a corporate family worship and education. • Offering multiple Sunday services and Sunday school accommodating all families, outreach programs such as; IBeam, ESOL and other local and international mission work, financial support, a children’s Pre-school, mid-week church programming for families, multi-generational programming, bereavement and divorce programming and more.
