The Sheriff's Office is responsible a population of about 70,000 people, 890 miles of county roads and a jail with a capacity of 440 Inmates. Our mission at the Morgan County Sheriff's Office is to enhance the quality of life in Morgan County by serving and protecting our community through excellent law enforcement and correctional services. We are proud of the services we provide and equally proud of the confidence the public has in us and our capabilities. The Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to providing not only superior law enforcement services to Morgan County, but also to giving back.
