Monte da Pêra Brava is a 64 hectare farm in the southern Portugal region of Alentejo. Since the dawn of the agricultural age, humans have been denuding the exceptionally rich ecosystem of the Earth's top soil by tilling it.
Our goal for the farm is to mimic nature and let life flourish in all its forms. We will do this by turning the land into silvopasture, a harmonious mix of trees, grassland and grazing animals. We will employ regenerative ideas such as Adaptive Multi-Paddock grazing, diverse cover crops and minimizing soil disturbance and artificial inputs.
A Hypha AG project.
