Mondial Diagnostics is a non-profit aiming to contribute to the structural improvement of healthcare for poverty-related diseases (PRDs), especially in low- and middle income countries. We believe that the key to a successful solution is establishing a knowledge base and infrastructure in affected countries to detect and address PRDs at the national and local level.
We do this through:
1. The development of new, simple, affordable and reliable rapid diagnostic tests, and the facilitation of local production and distribution of these tests in countries where PRDs are highly prevalent, via:
• Transfer of tests and manufacturing protocols to local partners;
• Assisting with quality management of locally manufactured tests
• Supporting implementation of the tests in the local/ regional healthcare systems.
2. Manufacturing and sale of high-quality antigens for use in diagnostic tests.
3. Advising of 3rd parties on all aspects of the development, validation, manufacturing, and implementation of rapid diagnostics.
4. Contributing to the awareness among governments, healthcare facilities and physicians of the advantages of reliable –and the costs of inadequate- diagnosis of poverty-related diseases.
If you are interested in becoming part of our growing network of local manufacturers of rapid diagnostics, have a need for a specific new point-of-care diagnostic test, or are looking for a partner to evolve your prototype rapid test into a final product, please contact us!
The Mondial Diagnostics Foundation was established in 2016 as a Public Benefit Organization (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI)), incorporated under Dutch law.
