Mississauga First Nation is a signatory to the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850 and a member of the Mississauga Nation. The community is located at the mouth of the river which shares its name on the north shore of Lake Huron. MFN Traditional Territory extends northward into the Huron Watershed, to the headwaters of the Mississaugi and beyond.
