Mining Legends

The Mining Legends project is an innovative, private mining sector driven initiative that will provide significant proceeds to several critical organisations and charities throughout the Goldfields and surrounding mining regions, formally announced at the 2018 WPIL auction & expo. Our story - the mining legends project will take the form a r2900g donated by northern star resources and ran tribune via their east Kundana joint venture. Our mission - to bring the WPIL network together to complete a charity rebuild project to benefit the wider mining community, creating positive impact from the result of hard-working, dedicated and loyal industry personnel. Our purpose - to provide families within mining communities around Australia support at their time of need, when a mining accident occurs, as well as provide a vehicle for service providers around Australia to contribute to their wider communities. The rebuilt R2900G project will be unveiled at the 2019 WPIL auction & expo in Kalgoorlie on October 24th and 25th. All mining legends who have donated to the R2900G rebuild, will be invited to the mining legends gala around the time of the expo to celebrate the rebuild. To bring the WPIL network together to complete a charity rebuild project to benefit the wider mining community, creating positive impact from the result of hard-working, dedicated and loyal industry personnel.
