Many back-hoes later, Miles Excavating has grown to a 160-employee firm, with a modern fleet of equipment, and a history of successful projects that exceed client expectations time after time, yet Steve Miles’ hands-on involvement in the firm has not changed. He is still actively engaged in every project, serving as quality assurance manager, providing project estimates, meeting regularly with superintendents, overseeing job sites, and working in the trenches.
