Since it's inception in 2000, Mildura Finance Ltd has developed from small beginnings to become a dynamic and powerful player in the finance industry. Not content with a traditional model of providing motor, equipment, and home loans to regional Victoria, in its early days, MFL pioneered a structure that incorporated volumes on behalf of independent agents and larger aggregators. In 2004 the business owners took the strategic opportunity to diversify MFL through a broker network, MFL now provides in excess of 3000 brokers access to motor and equipment finance nationally. In 2007 MFL formed an alliance with Melbourne Finance Broking. This alliance provided new advantages and revenues for MFL as they had joined a finance broking group with a national presence. The result for the business was greater market presence, improved buying depth, and additional income via volume incentives.
