Who We Are People. Before profits.   Our Mission By working together to create a new pole in American politics, we believe we can forge a more just and sustainable future. We are committed to a participatory democracy at every level, an economy that works for the many, and a society that dismantles racism while uplifting our common humanity.  Our Vision To ignite the power of our communities and shift the balance of power, we cultivate the leadership of those directly affected by injustice, and build popular institutions for the future. Let's put people and the planet before profits.  Donate    We Are... Michigan People's Campaign is a statewide organization of leaders working for economic and racial justice. We use the tools of community organizing and civic engagement to advocate for change. We are deeply committed to ensuring that our government reflects the needs of all people in our state, not just the wealthy and powerful.   We are a multi-racial organization with membership in Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
