Metropolitan Montessori School (Mms)

Metropolitan Montessori School, on New York’s Upper West Side, serves children between the ages of 3 and 12 years and is guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. MMS instills personal responsibility, critical thinking, resilience, and respect for others, giving children a foundation for learning that will stay with them through time. MMS is dedicated to providing an enriching and challenging educational environment where each child is encouraged to grow to his or her fullest potential academically, emotionally, and socially. Through the dynamic partnership of child, parent, and teacher, a consistent Montessori framework for learning is developed, offering "An Education for Life." Our MISSION is to prepare children for life in their changing world.
