Metro TeenAIDS is now closed. On February 1, 2015, our programs moved to Whitman Walker Health.
For more than 25 years, Metro TeenAIDS (MTA) was dedicated to partnering with young people to end HIV/AIDS. During our years of service, MTA helped to change the face of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Washington, DC, providing a wide range of HIV prevention services, HIV testing, and support for youth and families struggling with HIV.
Metro TeenAIDS was considered one of the premier nonprofit organizations in the Washington, DC area and received numerous awards for the quality of our services and the strength of the staff. Metro TeenAIDS eventually grew into the largest HIV/AIDS service provider in the world to focus exclusively on young people.
The board and staff of the organization are extremely proud of our work. And we hope our efforts are an adequate testament to the young people who participated in ending the epidemic and for those who lost their lives to HIV.
