Metrilus is developing algorithms for 3D cameras for medical technology and other industries since 2010. Since we started Metrilus, we have developed core technology in a wide variety of application areas and successfully launched it onto the market together with fortune 500 companies. Using this profound experience Metrilus started to shift focus towards the fast growing logistic market to unlock the enormous potential of 3D cameras for this industry. On this basis, the company has developed a software that quickly, easily and cost-effectively determines all necessary data to enable digital processes for handling freight using only standard hardware. The method, called MetriX, measures the volume of arbitrary objects in a few milliseconds with high accuaracy. This data can be used, for example, to determine the space required by objects in a truck, aircraft or ship or to optimize storage.
