The Mental Health Association of New York City (MHA-NYC) is a nonprofit organization that addresses mental health needs in New York City and across the United States through its three-part mission of service, education, and advocacy.
MHA-NYC administers groundbreaking crisis support services including: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the national Disaster Distress Helpline, the Veterans Crisis Line, NFL Life Line, and NYC Well. MHA-NYC's New York City and national programs, including their Adolescent Skill Centers and Family Resource Centers, work to improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by mental illness while promoting the importance of mental health and wellness.
