The goal of Menschen für Menschen is to make entire regions in rural Ethiopia independent of foreign aid. In doing so, we rely on a long-term principle of "helping people to help themselves". Meeting at eye level, listening and implementing a wide range of measures together with the population are the foundations of our work. Working closely with the local population, our Ethiopian colleagues implement measures in the fields of agriculture, water, education, health and human development and income in the project regions. Since all areas of life are closely interrelated, we make sure that our measures are correspondingly aligned and adjusted to each other- this is essential for providing sustainable change.
