I am pleased to introduce the Men’s Health Institute, which opened July 6th, 2015 servicing the downtown Toronto community and all Ontario patients.
There is increasing evidence of strong associations between male reproductive health disorders and chronic disease, with suggestions that male reproductive health problems coexist with or represent a marker for other common conditions. Specifically, male reproductive health problems are often closely associated with undiagnosed cardiovascular disease. Timely medical and surgical treatment of male-specific illnesses delivers life changing outcomes for patients and transforms quality of life. The consequences of not undertaking these services are pain, psychosocial morbidity, economic inactivity and large downstream costs to the healthcare system.
Men’s Health Institute
The clinics will provide a programmatic approach to medical care for male-specific illnesses using established, evidence based care maps. Our patient centred programs include comprehensive care for men for:

• Sexual health
• Testosterone deficiency syndromes (“Andropause”)
• Prostate health
