My name is Nick Mendez, and I’m a queer, Puerto Rican photographer and videographer with a studio in SE Portland, Oregon. I specialize in human-centric storytelling: commercial photography, event documentation, portraits, short-form video production and bespoke image licensing. I'm driven by a genuine interest in other people, and a belief in the compelling nature of real life stories and characters. My clients and partners in the community include Travel Portland, New Avenues for Youth, Nike, the University of Oregon and the Portland Housing Bureau. I offer one week turnaround on photography projects, and one month turnaround for video productions, including color correction and an original score.
