Men For Gender Equality Now

Men for Gender Equality Now (MEGEN) is a society of men and women activists, who engage in community sensitization and education work, advocacy and campaigning to challenge unequal power relations between men and women, transform harmful masculinities into positive ones and put an end to Gender Based Violence (GBV) and HIV/AIDS. Since its inception in December 2001, MEGEN has reached out to thousands of men and women in Kenya, assisting them to understand the importance of ending GBV, curbing HIV/AIDS and realizing gender equality in order to create healthy and loving relationships within the family and the community.
