Medcenter One, located in Bismarck, N.D., is a not-for-profit, multi-specialty medical center. Medcenter One Q&R Clinic was founded in 1902 by two physicians, Dr. Eric P. Quain and Dr. Niles O. Ramstad, with a vision of providing outstanding patient care. This clinic was the second multi-specialty clinic in the nation, second only to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Medcenter One has clinics in Bismarck, Dickinson, Jamestown, Mandan and Minot. And, it has a 228-bed hospital, four multi-specialty clinics, a college of nursing, seven primary care clinics, four walk-in clinics, three kidney dialysis centers, three occupational health clinics, four long-term care facilities and a comprehensive group of health services in western and central North Dakota. Key accreditations and awards include: Joint Commission, American College of Surgeons Level II Emergency and Trauma Center, and Magnet Recognition Program®.
