More than 10 years ago, our developers imagined a resort-style senior living community perched high on a ridge in the gorgeous Connecticut countryside. It would offer a superior level of style and service tailored for someone with impeccable taste. It would encourage independent living, but offer a continuum of health services for residents whenever needed. In 2001, Meadow Ridge welcomed its first residents. And today, our story continues.
The heart of the Meadow Ridge community is our three-story, glass-roofed atrium. This soaring space is our village square. Umbrella-shaded cafe tables make it ideal for continental breakfast, afternoon tea, or quiet reflection by a free-flowing brook that meanders through the atrium. The atrium also contains a pleasant fountain, a waterfall, and a pond.
The atrium's perimeter houses our neighborhood services and facilities.
This is an interconnected community - physically and socially. People are drawn together by their compatible interests. New friendships are easy to make and maintain. Yet, there is ample space and opportunity for private time.
Beyond the buildings of Meadow Ridge are more than 100 acres of open space dedicated for preservation. Our walking trails, open meadow, and woodland pond with a gazebo are popular for afternoon picnics and provide idyllic settings for our residents.
