Mavoi Satum is a non-profit organization whose approach to the problem of get refusal combines personal assistance to individual mesoravot get, along with advocacy campaigns aiming for a broad and systemic reform in the Israeli society.

On the national level, with over 20 years of experience, Mavoi Satum advocates for reform in the legal system that governs marriage and divorce in Israel. These activities include the preparation and presentation of cases in court and appeals within the Supreme Court; participating in Knesset meetings in order to change legislation; and research other laws that could impede reform activities.
Founded in 1995 by Leah Globe, who opened her home to women who were agunot or mesoravot get,
the organization is dedicated to creating a more just and democratic society in Israel in which women who seek a Jewish divorce will not encounter a “Dead End” as a result of insensitive legal interpretations and stringencies.
