Mavag AG produces and supplies apparatus and plants for mixing technology, biotech production plants, filter technology, and vacuum drying technology applications. It offers magnetic drive agitators for bottom and top mounting on a vessel; sterile agitators for mixing applications; conventional and stand alone agitators for non sterile areas and the colour and paint industry; and mechanical foam breakers. The company also engages manufacture of sterile tank units, CIP units, and fermentation units for pharmaceutical, and food and beverage applications; agitated pressure filters and horizontal disc filters for pharmaceutical production; filtration plants; agitators and fermentors for biotechnology; and SCADA systems, as well as offers plant planning and erection services for biotech and general pharmaceutical purposes. In addition, it provides single-sheet filters, agitated pressure nutsches and filter-dryers, multiple-sheet filters, and laboratory and pilot filters that are used in fine and agro chemicals production.
