Mathematics Society Of University Of Moratuwa

The Mathematics Society of the University of Moratuwa was founded under the name of “MoraMaths” with the intention of fostering interest and creative expression of mathematical ideas. As the Mathematics Society, we strongly believe that mathematics isn’t as esoteric as people take it to be. Our goal is to build a common platform for those who are deeply interested in mathematics and for those who are simply curious to find out how deeply ingrained maths can be in a subject they love. Since its inception, the Mathematics Society has been able to continuously expand the ‘MoraMaths’ family by organizing various events, discussions (M-talks) and workshops where math-enthusiasts get the opportunity to learn and share their ideas on trending topics in mathematics.
