The Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis (MIP) is a comparative psychoanalytic training institute in which multiple psychoanalytic perspectives are brought together and taught in open, continuing dialogue. We represent a wide range of thinking, from classical to contemporary, preparing analytic candidates and post-graduate fellows to be broadly skilled clinicians who can hold the integrity of the psychoanalytic tradition while expanding our understanding and work with an increasingly wide, diverse range of patients.
