Marubeni Middle-East & Africa Power Limited (MAMEA) is a 100% subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, a leading trading and investment firm in Japan. Marubeni Corporation owns total around 40GW (gross capacity) of power generation assets globally. MAMEA is in charge of development and asset management of power/energy transition projects in the Middle East and Africa region. While traditionally focus has been on power generation business (IPP business), we are expanding into hydrogen/decarbonization projects and other businesses in the power business value chain to support the energy transition in the region. Currently we have offices in Dubai, Doha and Johannesburg.
