We offer both straightforward manufacturing of moulded rubber products, as well as a consultative approach to solutions for challenging problems. Our services include: • Rubber moulding – using a range of facilities, in volumes from 1 off to tens of thousands • Rubber Bonding – chemically bonding rubber to a range of materials including metal, PTFE, carbon fibre • Product development – we can help with design from scratch or improvement on an existing design, offer alternative solutions for improved manufacture or efficiency. We will also reverse engineer from existing parts where they are obsolete, or wheredrawings no longer exist. We work with Solidworks and have in-house tooling facilities, particularly useful during development work. • Non-linear FEA – to simulate real world performance; this will allow you to refine a design prior to production and understand where any weak points might be. FEA can also be used to assess points of failure if you’re having a problem with an existing part. • Materials development and testing – if an off-the-shelf material doesn’t meet your requirements due to either extreme environmental impacts or a unique combination of critical factors, we will work with you to develop a material that meets your needs. We also proactively undertake material development in house for specific markets – for example we have developed light-weight solid silicones, compounds with nanomaterials for improved properties (for example, damping) and a tungsten-filled compound for radiation attenuation.
