Markham Soccer Club

The Markham Soccer Club was formed in 1971 with one team in the Newmarket and District League. It has since grown to over 2,300 outdoor players and 800 indoor players. Our recreational division offers 3-a-side programs for U4 - U6 players, a 5-a-side micro-soccer program for U7's, a mini-soccer (7-a-side) program for U8's, U9's and 10's and full-field programs from U10 to U18. The Adult division boasts almost 1000 players playing recreational soccer in the summer and 600 in the winter. The Markham FC Lightning competitive program is one of the best in York Region with over 550 players on 50 competitive squads. We also field a full complement of teams in the Ontario Player Development League (ODPL) and have partnered with the Wexford Soccer Club to create ALLIANCE UNITED FC, our League 1 Ontario Men's squad who finished 6th and qualified for the playoffs in their inaugural season.
